Alcometer.org is a privately operated, non-commercial educational service. It is not a business, carries no paid advertising, and does not offer any product or service for sale. The operator is a natural person based in the European Union. Although the Electronic Commerce Regulations 2002 strictly bind only commercial services, identity and contact information is voluntarily provided above as a matter of good practice.

The operator is personally responsible for all content on the site. Requests for correction, takedown under s. 5 of the Defamation Act 2013, or other editorial inquiries should be directed to the email address above. A substantive response will normally be provided within 14 days.

The BAC estimates and related information are provided for educational purposes only and are not a substitute for a calibrated police breath test under the Road Traffic Act 1988, s. 7. Users must not rely on the calculator to determine fitness to drive. To the fullest extent permitted by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the operator disclaims all liability for any loss arising from reliance on the output.
