Alcometer.org is a non-commercial personal website (site édité à titre non professionnel within the meaning of Art. 6-III-2° LCEN). The publisher is a natural person, the service is free of charge, displays no paid advertising, and does not process personal data on the server. The publisher voluntarily provides full identification (name + postal address + email), going beyond the minimum disclosure allowed for non-professional editors under LCEN.

Alcometer.org is hosted by its infrastructure provider (currently Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA — https://vercel.com). The identity of the hosting provider is kept up to date and is communicated to any competent judicial authority upon request, pursuant to Art. 6-II LCEN.

The publisher is also the directeur de la publication within the meaning of Art. 93-2 of the Law of 29 July 1982 on audiovisual communication. Any request for correction or right of reply ("droit de réponse", Art. 6-IV LCEN) may be directed to the email address above and will be answered within three months.

The content of this site is protected by the French Code de la propriété intellectuelle. Reproduction, representation, or distribution without the prior written consent of the publisher is prohibited except within the limits of private use (Art. L.122-5 CPI) and short citation. The calculator formulas themselves derive from peer-reviewed published research and are cited on the Methodology page.

They do not constitute medical advice, do not replace an official breathalyser or blood test (éthylotest / prise de sang), and must not be used to determine fitness to drive. The publisher disclaims, to the fullest extent permitted by French law, any liability for decisions taken on the basis of the output of this calculator.
