Alcometer.org is a privately operated, non-commercial educational website. The owner is a natural person. No goods or services are sold through the site, no paid advertising is displayed, and the activity does not generate economic income, either direct or indirect. Accordingly, the activity is outside the strict scope of the LSSI-CE (which targets information-society services engaged in economic activity — see art. 1.1 LSSI-CE). Identity disclosure is nevertheless provided voluntarily.

Use of this site is free of charge. By accessing the site, the user agrees to use it lawfully and in good faith, not to attempt to disrupt its normal operation, and not to reproduce or redistribute the content outside the limits permitted under the Real Decreto Legislativo 1/1996 (Ley de Propiedad Intelectual).

BAC estimates are for educational purposes only; they do not replace an official breathalyzer reading ("etilómetro") under the Reglamento General de Circulación (Real Decreto 1428/2003). The owner disclaims any liability for decisions taken on the basis of the calculator output, to the fullest extent permitted by Spanish law (arts. 1101 et seq. Código Civil).

Processing of personal data is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Ley Orgánica 3/2018 de Protección de Datos Personales y garantía de los derechos digitales (LOPDGDD). The server does not collect personal data; see the Privacy Policy for details on localStorage.
