Alcometer.org is a privately operated, non-commercial educational website. Its fundamental orientation ("grundlegende Richtung" within the meaning of § 25 (4) MedienG) is the dissemination of scientifically grounded, jurisdiction-agnostic information about the pharmacokinetics of ethanol and about legal blood-alcohol thresholds, with the explicit aim of harm reduction. The site takes no political, religious, or commercial position.

The operator is a natural person. The service generates no revenue, displays no paid advertising, and collects no personal data on its server. As this qualifies as a "kleine Website" under § 25 (5) MedienG, the extended disclosure requirements (company register, ownership structure, etc.) do not apply. The minimum disclosure (name, address, country) is nevertheless provided above in full.

The operator is personally responsible for all journalistic-editorial content on this site. Corrections, rectifications, and counter-statements under § 9 ff. MedienG may be requested via the email address above. A reply will be provided within the statutory timeframes.
